YALDING HOUSE

Whilst working as Project Architect for BuckleyGrayYeoman, Alex directed the full refurbishment of Yalding House on behalf of the client, British Land. From concept design to build completion Alex led the design and construction teams to produce a vibrant commercial hub located to the North of Oxford Street and South of Regents Park. The build contract was run as full design and build with complex co-ordination and delivery of different suppliers and trades from all over the UK. In it's previous use, Yalding House was home to BBC Radio One. In order to make the most of this history Alex worked with Arcylicize to design and install location specific artwork that enhanced the buildings new spaces, whilst reminding users of the buildings previous use.
